Irish - Sven, I believe, was talking about Aussie Rules football.

Which isn't in the Olympics.

Re: The Official 6 Nations Rugby Thread

Bit off there mate.

You can distribute the ball in any direction.

It is in the Olympics

And there is a World Cup every four years.

It's the 8th most popular sport in the World.

They arguably have better kicking technique that football players. In rugby a huge amount of the game is around getting the high pressure kicks from very difficult angles.

Re: The Official 6 Nations Rugby Thread
Wouldnt it be better if both teams were deployed all over the pitch, competed with each other with their ball skills and could distribute the ball in any 360 degree direction?
And actually kick the ball properly

If only there was a game like that

Yes, it would be played all over the world, an Olympic sport and have a World Cup every four years, it would be so popular.

I’m not sure that Kiwi ref would have given England a penalty try had it been at the other end. And the Jocks got away with collapsing the scrum repeatedly in the last couple of minutes… but another self inflicted defeat and predictable.

Watching this England team snatch defeat from the jaws of victory is not a lot of fun.

Thanks, Eddie, but your time is up.

Re: The Official 6 Nations Rugby Thread
Its a simple game where teams line up on either side and run at each other.
And does any other game require you to advance and then throw the ball backwards? And routinely kick the ball off the pitch.
Wouldnt it be better if both teams were deployed all over the pitch, competed with each other with their ball skills and could distribute the ball in any 360 degree direction?
And actually kick the ball properly

If only there was a game like that
